Prior to its transformation, these buildings held a former wool store, a neglected apartment building and a cinema. In its place, we created an elegant mixed-use building featuring boutique offices and high-end apartments overlooking the city. By upgrading the property to a much higher standard, and securing a long-term commitment from a leading retailer, we ensured a stable and growing income for the property.
The older buildings were demolished and replaced with a new dramatic example of Post-modern architecture. The façade was replaced with glass and steel and ornamented with traditional limestone frames – a reminder of the architectural history of the area.

Located in the CBD on the most active commercial street, the retail portion of the property needed a vibrant street presence. The property welcomed the first Douglas Parfumerie to Switzerland. Douglas, a leading perfume and cosmetic retailer from Germany, occupies four levels of the building. Since opening in 1999, it has become the most visited perfume store in the city.
